PATSY CLINE & FRIENDS
Starring Sue Lowry, Marc Robinson & Lee Davidge or Roger Bird
As a young girl, the velvet voice of Patsy Cline caught the imagination of Sue Lowry and left a lifelong impression, inspiring her to pursue a career in music.
Patsy was a down to earth country gal who looked as good in a shirt and jeans as she did in an evening dress and, not only did she have an incredible vocal range, she was a record breaking recording artist who spent a very noteworthy 251 consecutive weeks in the USA Country Music Charts.
In the 'Patsy Cline & Friends' show, Sue Lowry's powerful renditions of classic songs like 'Sweet Dreams' and 'Crazy', as well as 'She's Got You' and 'Got A Lot Of Rhythm In My Soul', will take you back to the toe-tapping, honky-tonk days of pure country music.
In support, singer Marc Robinson pays tribute to the Granddaddy of Country Music, Hank Williams, with songs such as 'Howlin' at the Moon', 'I Saw the Light', 'Hey Good Lookin' and 'Your Cheatin' Heart'.
The show also includes a sensitive tribute to Jim Reeves, performed by either Lee Davidge or Roger Bird (please check venue websites for details), including songs such as the much loved 'Welcome To My World', 'Distant Drums' and, the one everyone loves to join in with of course - 'Bimbo'.
So, don your Western wear and your stetsons and come along for a hayride of a show!
